Molly Tarlov, an American actress who has been starring in Awkward since 2011 and is also known by the name of Sadie Saxton. Tarlov is the younger daughter who was born in Manhattan. At the age of 10, Tarlov played her role as Mrs. Peterson as part of the Little Red School House production of Bye Bye Birdie. This was a hugely praised performance by an audience comprised of seventh graders. Later in years, she worked during the summer in Paris with NYU Tisch's Tisch School of the Arts at Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College is where she received the Bachelor of Arts (theatre) and was trained in a variety of forms of acting. Additionally, she studied with The Atlantic Theater Company and could incorporate the writing aspect of her act at the LAByrinth Theater Master Class. Molly transformed her black winter coat for a pair of glasses in black when she arrived at Los Angeles. She quickly landed a three-word part on iCarly which garnered a lot of interest from parents. She has since done several TV appearances, and also played the character of Caitlin on Winnie Holzman as well as Savannah Dooley's ABC's Family show Huge. Molly is a basketball player who is convinced that she's more talented than she actually is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
